Is a competitive medical certificate mandatory?
Yes. A competitive medical certificate for running (with the wording "track and field") is required for all races, otherwise, you will be excluded.
Is a membership in a sports club or a RUN CARD necessary?
No, it is not necessary. The RUN CARD is required for FIDAL races. For insurance purposes, we will register all participants with CSAIN before the start.
Will there be a shuttle for the VK descent?
Yes, there will be a shuttle from the “Maccione” area, next to the "Enis Monte Maccione" hotel-restaurant, about two kilometers from the VK finish line.
Will the races award ITRA and UTM points?
Yes, the 24km Sky Race and the 50km Ultra Race will.
Will there be showers at the end of the race?
Yes, showers will be available at the sports hall at Via Pietro Sanna 44.
Can I register on-site?
On-site registration is not allowed on the day of the race. Registrations must be made online via the Wedosport website. On-site registration will only be possible for the Hiking Day.
Can minors be registered?

You registered but don't see your name on the participant list?
The participant list will be available on the registration page a few days before the event. Your name will only appear in the starting list once you have completed the payment phase on the Wedosport website. If you don't see your name, please check your registration on the Wedosport page or contact
I'm registered, but there are red dots next to the document fields on the list. What does that mean?
This means the documents have not been uploaded to the Wedosport website, and your registration is incomplete. You must upload these documents as soon as possible before registration closes; otherwise, you will not be able to participate in the race. In exceptional cases (e.g., medical certificate issued after registration closes), a photocopy will be accepted at bib collection on race day.
My current certificate has expired. Can I still register?
Yes, but you must upload a valid certificate by October 6, 2024, to the Wedosport website. If the certificate is renewed between October 6 and 10, you may bring a photocopy to bib collection. Without a valid certificate on race day, you will not be allowed to participate.
Can I collect a bib for a friend?
Yes, you can collect a friend's bib (within the times indicated in the program) by presenting a photocopy of their ID, which will be retained for any disputes and destroyed at the end of the event.
IMPORTANT: If you collect a bib for a friend who won’t race (e.g., an injured friend’s race pack), please notify us to avoid issues with missing participants at the start.
I compete in sports that do not require a medical certificate. What should I do?
Participation in the Oliena Sky Trail races requires a competitive medical certificate, so you must visit an authorized medical center to obtain one certifying your ability to compete in endurance sports.
Is it possible to sleep in a camper or tent near the start/finish area?
An area about 2 km from the start (Via Pietro Sanna 44) will be set up where you can park your camper, sleep in a tent, or stay inside the structure with a sleeping mat and sleeping bag. Note: The organization will only provide restroom facilities.

Is any mandatory equipment required?
ABSOLUTELY YES! The organization has prepared a specific page on the website called MANDATORY EQUIPMENT, listing the items deemed necessary by the organizing committee for safely completing the course. Anyone who chooses to tackle the course without the required safety conditions does so at their own risk, and any rescue costs, as well as damages caused to the organization or other participants, will be entirely at their expense.
If the mandatory equipment is incomplete during a race inspection, the athlete will be DISQUALIFIED and asked to withdraw for their own safety and that of all participants.
What will I find at the refreshment stations?
There are various refreshment points along the race, offering liquids only or both solid and liquid provisions.
We encourage you to check the specific race page for details on the number and types of stations available.
SOLID stations (which also offer liquids) or LIQUID ONLY stations (with no solid food).
Solid refreshments include: Dried fruit, chocolate, biscuits, wafers, crackers, ham, salami, bread, pastries, rice/pasta.
Note: There are no dedicated gluten-free refreshment stations, so those with celiac disease should manage their own food, as we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination.
Is there a bag deposit?
A bag deposit area will be available for participating athletes in the event village.
Participants can leave their bags (of reasonable size) for the duration of their race. The bag will be identified with the athlete’s race bib number. While the organization will take utmost care, it declines all responsibility for any loss, theft, or damage.
Who should I contact in case of emergency?
In case of a personal emergency or for other participants, you can contact the race direction via the emergency number printed on your bib. You can also notify the staff along the course, but using the emergency number is the quickest and most direct method.
